My Story
I’m Lauren, founder of Rise Strong Yoga Collective and creator of Yoga with Gratitude. My journey to yoga and meditation began when Western medicine could not fully explain the symptoms I was experiencing.
Chronic stress, nervous system overload, grief, trauma, and years of masking undiagnosed ADHD had reached a breaking point. After receiving an IBS diagnosis and limited answers, I continued searching for deeper healing. I tried elimination diets, prescribed medications, and even self-medication, but nothing helped me feel “normal.”
A visit with a naturopath ultimately led me to roll out my mat and try yoga and meditation. That moment changed my life.
Through movement, breath, and mindfulness, I began regulating my nervous system, reconnecting with my body, and rediscovering strength I didn’t know I had. What started as personal healing grew into a passion for supporting other women navigating burnout, stress, and life transitions.
This space was birthed from my eagerness to share what I discovered during 300+ hours of yoga teacher training and more than a decade of practicing self-care.
